The children had a wonderful week celebrating יוֹם הַעַצְמׇאוּת - Yom HaAtsmaut. They learnt about the emblem - סֶמֶל and the parts that make it up - מְנוֹרׇה, עֲנְפֵי זׇיִת - ‘Menorah’, ‘Anfay Zayit’ - ‘Olive Branches’. They also learnt about other symbols of Israel such as the יוֹנׇה - ‘Yonah’ -‘Dove’ bird of peace. They had great fun making the crafts and joining in the activities.
