We started our week with Hebrew reading where we looked at one of the silent Sh'va rules. The children tested one another on the rule and then played Sh'va games on their Ipads and used their workbooks to reinforce their reading. On Wednesday, the children had an exciting joint lesson with Year 3, taught by Mrs Myer whereby they practiced their hebrew reading and sang a song for Tu Bishvat. This week the children learned how to write the letter 'tav' in Hebrew script. During Parasha, the children heard about the splitting of the sea and they coloured beautiful pictures to depict this amazing miracle!
