Dear parents of Kerem School,

We are the year 6 representatives of the Kerem Cares Community Council, and we are here to help make the school a better place, starting with your children. 

For example, we want your children to feel happy in their learning environment, so we will try our hardest to make this happen. We have many more ideas about how to make the school a better place. 

This week, we have been discussing birthdays. We were thinking that maybe children don’t need to bring in edible treats for their birthday. They are quite unhealthy, and us being in a double class [44 children], means that we eat 44 unhealthy treats in a year. Also, some children have allergies, so it is unfair if they cannot have what children bring in.
