Ivrit
Year 1 have been enjoying learning about Sukkot in Ivrit. They are able to say the greeting חַג סֻכּוֹת שֺמֵחַ - ‘Chag Sukkot Sameach’ - Happy Sukkot Holiday. They have been practising writing the word סֻכָּה and looking at the Ivrit words for how the Sukka is built - סְכָך, קְרַשִים, עַנׇפִים (roof, planks, branches).
Year 1 have started learning some simple vocabulary for Rosh Hashanah. תֲפּוּחַ, דְבָש, שוֹפָר, רֺאש דָג, רִימוֹן
