Year 3 have been working hard on Numbers - Misparim in Ivrit. They can now spell some of the tricky words, thanks to the weekly spelling tests. Some of the children are able to add up in Ivrit and even say their parents' telephone numbers in under 20 seconds! Kol HaKavod Year 3!

W/C 14th October 2024

Year 3 are now able to greet each other, say their names and ask each other how they are usng a variety of structures. They have now started the topic of 'Family' - משפחה שלי. See topic vocabulary for the words and phrases for this topic.

W/C 23rd September 2024

Year 3 are now able to have a simple conversation in Ivrit. They can greet each other using a variety of blessings for different parts of the day and ask each other who they are and their names.  

W/C 16th September 2024

Year 3 will start the new topic 'Who Am I?/Greetings' this week (see topic vocabulary). They practised writing in script letters this week as all the writing this year will be in script only.

W/C 9th September 2024

Year 3 have been learning Ivrit this week using the book Flotsam. They used their initiative to come up with familiar words and phrases to describe some of the pictures in Ivrit and enjoyed learning names of fish and creating their own.

סַרְטָן - crab

תְּמָנוּן - octopus

דָּג זָהָב - gold fish

צָב - turtle

כּוֹכַב יָם - star fish

לִויָתָן - whale

סוּס יָם - sea horse

דָּג לֵיצָן - clown fish
