The Aviv (spring) is here!

We can see it everywhere

פְּרָחִים are blossoming.

צִפּוֹרִים are travelling from faraway places

We started to learn the song קן לציפור Ken La'tzipor by Haim Nachman Bialik (a very famous Israeli poet)

and we met my friend, Efi the parrot.

עוֹנַת הַסְּתָיו The Autumn season

Look how beautiful the trees are lately, everywhere around us. We will find so many colours, red, yellow, brown, and orange. Autumn is such a magical season.

Today in Fun In Ivrit, we started learning about the Autumn season, here and in Israel.

We have learned the words:

Falling leaves    שַׁלֶּכֶת
Leaves              עָלִים
Autumn               סְתָו
Snail                  חִלָּזוֹן

We danced and moved with real leaves and we met Hezi The Hilazon (the snail), who came to visit us all the way from Israel. He will be visiting our nursery a few more times over the next few lessons :)

Shabbat Shalom

עוֹנַת הַסְּתָו in Fun in Ivrit

My fingers family מִשְׁפַּחַת הָאֶצְבָּעוֹת שֶׁלִּי

Today, in Fun in Ivrit, we learned a few Israeli children's songs about our fingers and the individual name of each finger in our hand.

We also made some handprints which we will decorate once they will dry.

My fingers family מִשְׁפַּחַת הָאֶצְבָּעוֹת שֶׁלִּי

Shalom, my name is Sari.

The children call me Morah Sari.

In my lessons, Fun in Ivrit, I will focus on many things such as Israeli songs, dances, vocabulary, and traditions.

It's going to be so much Keif (fun).

You will find photos and videos on my blog.

Lots of love

Morah Sariheart
