Music
At Kerem School, music plays an important part in daily life. The children are enabled and encouraged to respond to music and sounds through a variety of activities including singing their Tefillah in the morning, music classes and participating in end of term shows . Across the years, children visit a number of musical and theatrical events which help to nurture a musical appreciation and the confidence to perform with others.
The curriculum develops children's ability to listen, appreciate, perform and compose music, encouraging them to develop their own musical voice and to explore the creative possibilities of different instruments and musical technologies. Through singing, instrumental playing and ensemble work, children will develop their musical fluency, expressiveness and communication skills working together and alone to create and perform their own musical works.
