Welcome to the autumn term. Year 3 have started the new topic 'Who Am I?/Greetings' this week (see topic vocabulary). They practised writing in script letters (all the writing this year will be in script only). They are now able to have a simple conversation in Ivrit. They can greet each other using a variety of blessings for different parts of the day and ask and answer each other who they are and how to introduce themselves.  

The children finished the topic of 'greetings' and used the vocabulary for the new top of 'family' (mishpacha) - see topic vocabulary. They can now describe their families including saying their names and using phrases such as זֶה אַבָּא שֶׁלִּי, זֹאת סָבְתָא שֶׁל עידן, יֵשׁ לִי אָחוֹת גְּדוֹלָה, אֵין לִי כֶּלֶב.
