PERMISSION TO ADMINISTER MEDICINE
There are times when children need to take prescribed medication during the school day. If this is unavoidable i.e antibiotics needed 4 x daily or medicine that needs to be administered at lunchtime then please complete the permission form and return it to the school office. Antibiotics that are needed 3 x daily can be managed outside of school hours.

Please note that if your child needs paracetamol in order to cover up feeling generally unwell then this is not something that we will administer and your child should be at home getting better.
ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES ON THE SCHOOL DAY
All children who arrive at school outside of school arrival times must be brought to the office to sign in. Parents need to leave their child at the office and should not take the child to their class.
Whilst it is discouraged there are times when a parent might need to collect their child during the school day. Parents need to arrange this in advance and wait in the office whilst their child is collected for them. Parents should not be going to classrooms.
UNIFORM & TRAINERS
Please ensure that your child is wearing dark school shoes on non PE days. On PE days, children should wear PLAIN DARK or WHITE trainers. They should NOT have coloured soles, patterns or lace.
FOOTBALL AND NETBALL CLUBS
Children should wear regulation school shoes and only change into their trainers directly before their club, unless they are already wearing their tracksuit and trainers for PE/External Sports.
Pupils are not allowed to wear any jewellery, apart from basic watches. Only plain stud earrings may be worn.
For safety reasons jewellery should not be worn for PE, games or swimming and should be removed before coming to school.
FOOD AFTER SCHOOL
Please do not allow your child to eat their ‘healthy’ snack in the foyer as it creates a mess for the cleaning staff. Kindly ensure that it is Kosher and encourage all rubbish to be thrown in the bin.
Children can wear their own clothes to mark the occasion of their birthday and class teachers will still ensure that birthdays are marked in class. Please be reminded that unless it is a PE day then sports clothing should not be worn.
If children would like to mark their birthdays in school, (it is not compulsory) they and their families are invited to make a donation to tzedaka or choose a book for the class library. A special label or certificate similar to the ones below will be put inside the book or, in the case of a donation, be given to the pupil. If you make a donation, please let Karen know the charity so that we can record it on their certificate.
FOOD AND DRINK
Children should have a named, reusable bottle of water for the classroom.
For morning break can bring fruit or vegetables. It should be in a named reusable pot.
PARKING OUTSIDE SCHOOL
Please take care when picking up your children to park safely and considerately. Please do not block drives or park on yellow lines. The safety of our children and relationships with our neighbours are of paramount importance.
